About this Procedure
A breast lift, or mastopexy, is a cosmetic procedure designed to lift and reshape sagging breasts, especially in patients who have large or drooping breasts. It involves removing excess skin, tightening the breast tissue, and repositioning the nipples for a more youthful appearance. The areolas can also be reduced if stretched.
While the procedure doesn't increase breast size, it can be combined with implants if added volume is desired. Recovery takes aleast 2 weeks, and results typically include firmer, lifted breasts with improved contour.
